What do I do if more damage occurs?
If you suffer more damage to your home as a result of your claim during the claim process, you should contact your Public Adjuster immediately. If the damage is a direct result of the original claim, ACI Adjustment Group’s Public Adjusters should be able to get coverage for your additional loss.
If you have already been paid for your claim and you suffer more damage from the same origin (pipe, toilet, bathtub, etc.), it will be difficult to secure coverage unless you have fixed the original problem. It is important that you make necessary repairs as soon as possible after you receive your settlement, as your insurance policy requires you to prevent further loss and will not cover losses from negligence or maintenance.
